About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Stainless Steel TIG Welder to join our team, working on high‑quality electromechanical assemblies for medical and semiconductor industries. This role is ideal for someone who takes real pride in producing clean, precise, medical‑grade welds to a consistently high standard.

You’ll be working in a modern, clean, and well‑organised workshop, producing complete assemblies used in regulated, high‑quality applications where attention to detail genuinely matters.

What You Will Be Doing:

• TIG welding stainless steel assemblies to medical‑grade quality standards.

• Producing welds with excellent cosmetic appearance and dimensional accuracy.

• Working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

• Preparing parts and assemblies with a strong focus on cleanliness and joint preparation.

• Carrying out self‑inspection to ensure quality, accuracy, and finish.

• Working closely with fabrication, machining, and quality teams.

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and controlled working environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience in stainless steel TIG welding.

• Confidence working on precision assemblies, not general fabrication.

• Ability to work to tight tolerances and high cosmetic standards.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

• Reliable, quality‑focused approach to work.

Nice to Have:

• Aluminium TIG welding experience.

• Experience in medical, semiconductor, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

• Welding qualifications.

Quality Control Inspector Vacancy At Mollart Engineering Resolven

Our growing company at Mollart Engineering Resolven, South Wales, is looking for a quality inspector. If you are looking for an exciting place to work, please take a look at the list of qualifications below. You will be required to work shifts and overtime when required. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspection of machined parts, weldments, and assemblies as per customer’s drawings, specifications, and requirements through the use of various types of inspection equipment and CMM operation.
  • Initiate and follow up of Nonconformance as required.
  • Assist with material movement as relates to non-conforming product.
  • Verification of operator in-process checks.
  • Special Projects as directed by quality management.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously (multitask) while maintaining high-levels of quality assurance practices.
  • Maintains a clean work environment to eliminate potential product contamination and damage.
  • Performing visual inspection checks on mechanical parts, weldments and various coatings and finishes (Anodising, Grit Blasting, Chromium Oxide).
  • Inspection on electrical and mechanical. components on incoming parts, material, in-process assemblies, and final product.
  • Review material specification and test reports against specification requirements.
  • Document inspection results in accordance. with customers requirements and any additional work instructions.
  • Vacuum Testing using Jigs and Fixtures.

Desired Experience:

  • Ability to read engineering drawings, bill of materials, quality plans, and other documents as needed is a must.
  • Ability to work under direct supervision and to follow written instructions and techniques.
  • Ability to exhibit a keen perception in all areas of quality assurance.
  • Be competent in the use of all metrology inspection and test equipment and CMM operation.
  • Proven track record of the highest integrity level.
  • Must be observant and good at paying attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, MSOffice, and Outlook.
  • Familiar with process control tools.
  • Time served apprenticeship.

Skilled CNC Machinist Vacancy

Due to our continued expansion, Mollart Engineering Resolven are looking to hire a skilled CNC Machinist to join our industry leading company. 

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to join our team at our Resolven facility in South Wales. 

Responsibilities:

 The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting and operating a 5 Axis Mazak VTC Mill. This is a permanent afternoon shift-based role after completion of training. The hours are : Afternoon Shift 14:00 – 12:00 Monday to Thursday, 38 hours as standard.

Required Experience:

  • 5 Axis setting/operating
  • Mazak VTC knowledge
  • Semiconductor/Medical industry experience preferred but not essential.

General CNC Machinist Vacancy at Mollart Engineering Resolven

As an expanding company, Mollart Engineering's facility in Resolven, South Wales, is looking for a general CNC machinist with a bias towards setting and operating a 5 Axis CNC machining centre. If you would like to join our team then please take a look at the list of requirements below. You will be required to work shifts, mornings and afternoons) and overtime when required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and run CNC machines (Lathe and 5 Axis Mill experience welcomed).
  • Read and understand customer drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect parts and ensure they are within drawing tolerance.
  • Make machine adjustments and minor programming changes as needed.
  • Competent in the use of various inspection equipment.
  • Analyse and solve manufacturing problems.
  • Tool proofing and first article and in-process inspection.
  • Tooling set up.
  • Follow, understand, complete and sign work order route cards.
  • Perform daily maintenance check of machines as required.
  • Be able to take a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Clean machine at the end of each shift.
  • Follow all site safety regulations.

Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience with milling and turning CNC centres preferred (5 Axis an advantage).
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, bill of materials, quality plans, and any relating documents is a must.
  • Ability to work under direct supervision and to follow written/oral instructions and techniques.
  • Must be observant and good at paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand geometrical tolerancing.
  • 5 Years experience in set up, operating and programming of CNC machines.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • MAZATROL controls would be an advantage.
  • Time served apprenticeship.
