16 Spindle Pellet Die
The 16 spindle version of the Mollart pellet die drilling machine has been developed for high volume production of dies where thousands of holes can be drilled un-manned.
The specially developed Mollart software monitors the drilling functions and in the event of a drill failure will reconfigure the machine to continue drilling without the broken drill.
The machine is capable of drilling holes from Ø1.5mm to Ø12mm to a depth of 150mm. Die capacity is between Ø500mm to Ø1,550mm and chip-to chip times can be as low as 3 seconds.
